Many companies are placing their confidence in the systems they already have in place, or, in effect, are crossing their fingers that they won't be the victims of disasters that cripple their ability to do business. Even among companies with business continuity plans, one out of four hasn't updated its plan in the past 12 months, and four out of ten haven't tested their plans in the past year or ever.
