UX/UI Designer

Esna is looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interactive flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

What we expect from you?
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

What you've got?
  • Proven UX/UI experience
  • Demonstratable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Solid experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
  • Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Angular JS, Bootstrap, Kendo UI
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques and technologies

Customer Success Leader

Esna has successfully transitioned our business toward a subscription-based consumption model. We maintain strategic partnerships with industry leading OEM partners such as Cisco, Avaya and Jive, which enables them to distribute Esna’s solutions. The Customer Success role will be key to ensuring we deliver maximum value to our end user customers, partners and Esna.

What we expect from you?

The mandate of the customer success team will be to drive:

  • Engage in late sales opportunities of new end user customers and assist with the onboarding process
  • as opportunities progress to later sales cycles, introduce yourself and your mandate to the opportunity team to ensure that upon purchase you will be working with the end user organization to ensure that business outcomes are achieved
  • work with the Esna installation team, partner and end user organization to ensure a successful onboarding process
  • Full adoption of Esna’s solution among end user customers
  • ensure the the customer understands the full capability and features of the solution and is using them to the maximum benefit and value
  • Increase penetration of Esna’s solution with the end user customers
  • expand the number of users of the solution throughout the end user organization
  • expand the number of solutions being used by the end user organization
  • Retention of Esna's customers
  • ensure that our customers renew their subscription on a timely basis

In addition, and complementary to the above, the individual will act as the Account Manager for Jive, a key large software relationship.

To achieve these objectives, the Customer Success team will be expected to work with Esna colleagues to ensure high user satisfaction from an end-to-end perspective. They will also be expected to work with Esna’s partners to ensure their mutual satisfaction and continued long-term partner engagement.

The individual

This position is to replace a vacancy where the predecessor established the Customer Success role and some of the processes. Initially this role will be an individual contributor, with the expectation that over the first year may progress to the manager of a small department.

The outcomes that the individual will be expected to deliver include:

  • high end user satisfaction; achievement of customer business outcomes
  • high partner satisfaction
  • achievement of sales objectives

The role will report to our EVP of Sales & Business Development and will be based out of the York Region office.

What you've got?

We seek an individual who has worked in a similar group at a B2B SaaS software company, either as a strong, high potential individual contributor or supervisory role.

The candidate should possess the following experience and attributes:

  • Comfort with the technology sufficient to conduct strong product demos and field inquiries with credibility
  • Experience working with business partners and channel sales process
  • Familiarity with communication and collaboration market segemtn is helpful, but not critical - more importantly you are not just 'tech savvy' - but 'tech excited', you're the typ of person that loves the newest technology and gadgets and can't wait to show them off to your friends
  • Very strong communication skills - written, verbal (especially a pleasant demeanor on the phone) and video/web presentation skillls (Scopia, WebEx, Hangouts, etc.)
  • You are tough, but a fair negotiator
  • You are familiar with pricing principles - you understand discounts, margins and what will be needed to examine our current systems, review requirements and identify solutions in the market to meet our needs and then implement these solutions
  • The ability to analyze data to deliver recommendations and achieve buy-in would enhance your ability to succeed (using data extracted from Salesforce.com and AccPac for example, to identify trends and see opportunities that have been overlooked)
  • You have common sense and exercise good business judgement
  • You are self-driven, but a strong team player
  • You will be responsbile for your own success and that of your team, but you will work closely with our channel mangement and customer service teams

Software Integration Engineer

Based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, a Software Integration Engineer is required to join a 4-person software integration team within a complex software development project. The company follows SCRUM development methodology. The project consists of the development of real time communications applications for the Collaboration market space in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities include the testing of cloud based software and enterprise software, defining test strategy, writing testcases, writing bug reports, summarizing testing results and reviewing customer documentation. This position will require working closely with software designers, technical writers and technical support engineers, as well as with other members of the software integration team.

Intermediate Cloud Software Engineer

The candidate will be reporting to the COO of the business and creating business solutions on an existing cloud based framework. The business solutions will be servicing Esna’s customer base, as well as all of its staff globally. It is a real opportunity to see what you create be put into practice and used on a daily basis. Technical Support Specialist

The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing a comprehensive package of Value Added Service and ongoing technical and application support to the Esna Technologies Inc. customers and network of distributors. This individual will act as the centralized link between customers, distributors, sales representatives, QC and Esna Technologies Inc.

What we expect from you?
  • Provide technical consultation to customers, distributors, field sales and internal personnel regarding product specifications, techniques and available substitutions pertaining to Esna products
  • Ensure resolution of questions or problems, providing on-site customer visits, telephone follow-up and written documentation as required
  • Provide technical product training for customers, customer care and sales specialists. This includes on-site customer training, and web based training
  • Document all product incident reports from customers, distributors, and internal or field personnel
  • Follow-up with appropriate QC and R & D departments to ensure complaint resolution as required
  • Document and communicate completed follow-up information to the customer to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Very familiar with Java (Javascript) and Microsoft .NET Technologies
